Del-Tech Manufacturing Inc. is pleased to have worked with West Fraser’s Sundre plant in Sundre, Alberta, to improve efficiencies and take advantage of co-generation opportunities.
Del-Tech detailed and installed a 70 MBtu Thermal Oil Heating System. This uses Bio-Mass fuels with moisture contents of up to 50% mcwb (moisture content wet bases). The project duration was about 12 months.
West Fraser implemented a conversion of natural gas to thermal oil for dry kilns. This is a Del-Tech specialty, and resulted in a significant savings to our customer. The dual furnace processing net out put is 70×10^6 Btu / per hour. Please click here to see photos from this project.
