DelTech is proud to have been involved in the construction of Pinnacle Pellet’s new Meadowbank Pellet Mill.
Meadowbank is about halfway between Prince George and Quesnel, BC. DelTech Manufacturing Inc., of the BID Group of Companies, has been the general contractor for plant construction, and has been involved in the planning, detailing and on-site supervision of the project from start to finish.
Foundation work began on April 7th of this year, and the plant was operational by mid July.
Pinnacle Pellet is a progressive and forward thinking company. Approximately 80% of fibre will come from sawdust created at nearby mills. The remaining 20% will come from harvested dead pine. While it is unusual for Pellets to be made from round wood, it is an innovative and environmentally friendly way to deal with standing dead pine created by the Pine Beetle Epidemic in British Columbia’s interior.
Congratulations to Leroy, Brock, and the rest of the team at Pinnacle Pellet for a job well done!
