The Del-Tech “E” Style Cut Off Saw is a tough customer. It is fabricated from HSS tubing with 1/2” formed side plates. The frame supports the lower log clamps, the pivoting saw arm, and the saw clamp guard. The pivoting saw arm is box channel construction complete with 3 7/16” diameter saw arbor, 12” collars and an adjustable motor base (removable belt guard included). As the Hydraulic or air cylinder actuation arm retracts, it contacts the guard through a shock absorbing bumper lifting it back to park position. The lower log clamps lift the log to prevent pinching as the log is cut through. Maintenance costs are minimal, and installation is easy.
